Moa in the media!

Hey all. Moa has had some great coverage lately. Dylan Horrocks had lots of nice things to say about Moa on 'Nights with Bryan Crump' on RNZ. You can listen to the full program here.

Also, Josh Perks over at has done a lovely review of the book. Check it out here

In other news, I have just finished penciling issue 4 so will start inking it very soon. Expect some pics soon.

From Earth's End: The Best of New Zealand Comics

A new book about New Zealand comics is about to be released. Written by Adrian Kinnaird, From Earth's End documents the story of the comic art form in New Zealand and features many of the people who have made an impact on the medium.

I'm not sure how I made it into the book but I am certainly pleased to have my work on Moa represented in what I am sure will become the definitive book on New Zealand comics. Possum von Tempsky has even made it onto the cover!

The book is being published by Random House Books and is out in November. Check it out here and be sure to check out Adrian's blog here.

Moa at Chromacon!

Hey all, after much deliberation I have decided to attend Chromacon the illustration and comic festival. It is on the 12th of May at Aotea Centre Auckland. I will be at the Pikitia Press both with Matt Emery who has been kind enough to let me hang. Issues 1-3 will be available and hopefully, volume one will be finished and ready to buy.

Entry is free and many of the best illustrators and comic artists in the country will be there. Come along, have a look, buy some stuff, meet some people and have a good time.
